Founded in 1952, in the heart of Sonoma County, Sebastopol Wranglers is a non-profit all breed, multi discipline, family oriented equestrian riding and driving club.
We offer a variety of clinics, shows, family activities, and participate in community events.
To promote the breeding, education and improvement, of driving and riding horses.
Sponsoring equestrian events under prevailing horse show rules and guidelines for the good of the Community.
The promotion of organized club rides, and improvement of riding skills.
The promotion of trails for riding throughout the Sebastopol area and Sonoma County, and the State of California.
The promotion of social activities and/or events for the pleasure of its members and guests.
The promotion of interest in riding for family groups and individual.
The promotion of and the perpetuation of good sportsmanship.
The trail ride scheduled for , has been changed from RiverFront Park to Jack London. There is a 5k run and Wine & Chocolate event at Riverside Park on Sunday.
Sounds fun, but not on horses jogging past runners, no to mention possible crowds of people. So, plan B. Lets go to Jack London State Park, Glen Ellen. $10 for Parking. Easy, soft trails. 10:00 am. Weather is suppose to be sunny and about 70. Bring a lunch.
Sebastopol Wranglers, Diamond M Productions and Russian River Riders have teamed up to bring
barrel racers the Redwood Empire Challenge. The challenge consists of a series of 15 jackpots over the 2014 season
to be held at the various arenas. All you have to do to participate in the challenge is declare your competition class
(Open, Youth or Novice) and attend each producer’s jackpots. The more jackpots you attend the more points you earn. There is no additional cost to you.
Sebastopol Wranglers are holding a Barrel Race at the Sonoma Fairgrounds on March 1st.
This race will be the first of the Redwood Empire Challenge Series. You do not need to participate
in the challenge to ride, so get those horses out and run those barrels! Entry Forms available. There will aslo be
a Team Roping after the race.
If we continue to have this dry, unseasonable weather, we may schedule another Barrel Race in February. Keep checking back.

by the membership in the January General Meeting.
Our February General Meeting is scheduled for at Goldridge Fire Station on Hessel Rd. The meeting will be starting at 7:00pm.
Our next Board Meeting will be held at 6:00pm at the Sebastopol Round Table.

On February 1st PRDC will be holding the first ever Rain Dance Festivities.
Come on out and let's get busy dancing for rain and having a great time while we do it!
CGA will be holding a Gymkhana at Novato Horsemen's Arena on February 8th.
Novato Horsemen's Association has scheduled their yearly Crab Feed for February 15th.
On March 15th Equi-Ed Therapeutic Equestrian Program will be holding a Tack Sale. It will be at their facility

CSHA is having a Rating Show at Novato Horsemen's Arena on March 22nd.
This year the Sonoma Horse Council has given an Equus Award to SAFER for its work in Horse Rescue in Sonoma County.
This is a great honor for the organization and is greatly deserved. The Awards Dinner is set for March 22nd. If you can join
your fellow equestrians to honor all the recipients, come on out and support your Horse Council.
SAFER is a local charity helping to rescue horses from bad situations or to
buy horses at the local auction for later adoption. The charity also has a program to help supply hay to horse
owners who want to keep their animals, but are having tough economic times. SAFER is also always looking for more volunteers.
